Recently, a racing simulator experience center in Guangzhou has captured the attention of China Central Television (CCTV) program, Across China, thanks to its professional equipment and electrifying atmosphere.

The production crew made a special visit, producing and airing a featured report approximately four minutes in length. Through objective and authentic footage, the report documented how the venue brings a top-tier racing simulation experience to a wide audience of enthusiasts. The core equipment featured is the Full-Motion GT Racing Simulator (or simply motion racing simulator), supplied by Richer Tech, a domestic professional racing simulation vendor, which lays the foundation for an ultimately realistic driving experience.

Professional Stage Garners National Media Attention

In preparation for the 15th Guangzhou Games, the experience center launched a series of racing simulation events. Relying on professional equipment, including the Richer Tech Full-Motion GT Racing Simulator (or motion racing simulator), the events attracted numerous young participants, fostering an enthusiastic on-site atmosphere. This motion racing simulator utilizes four 1600W high-power motors which offer swift response, capable of precisely and authentically relaying road conditions and vehicle dynamics, making every cornering maneuver and acceleration feel truly immersive.

This technological and vibrant scene proactively caught the attention of the Across China program team on CCTV’s Chinese International Channel. Following on-site interviews and multi-level reviews, the special report was officially aired.

The report provided an all-around look at the center’s efforts in promoting racing culture and enhancing professional experiences, covering the event atmosphere, in-depth user experiences, and participant interaction. Every frame captured in the footage not only recorded the exciting moments of simulated racing but also highlighted the crucial role of professional hardware in supporting immersion, conveying a dedication and persistence toward motorsports.

On-Screen Footage: The Track Clash Between a Professional Driver and an Experience Officer

Lin Shankai, a licensed race car driver with the Federation of Automobile and Motorcycle Sports of China, teamed up with cultural tourism experience officer Wan Yi to challenge other players. Under the professional driver’s guidance, Wan Yi quickly mastered the basic operations on the Richer Tech motion racing simulator. The simulator’s precise force feedback made the subtle operations of throttle control and steering perceptible and learnable.

In the first round, Lin Shankai’s team took a temporary lead. When the baton passed to Wan Yi, Lin Shankai provided real-time instruction on cornering techniques and throttle timing. But due to nervousness, Wan Yi made a mistake and drove off the track, resulting in a temporary deficit in the second round. Even so, the simulator’s real-time, realistic physical feedback allowed her to clearly feel the cause of the error.

The pressure of the final round fell upon the last driver of both teams. In the crucial moment, Lin Shankai, leveraging his profound understanding of the equipment’s characteristics, in the last lap achieved a dramatic last-lap overtake, leading his team to victory.

High Fidelity: Feeling the Thrill of Speed in Absolute Safety

The professional simulators used by the center are dedicated to 1:1 restoration of real racing physics and control logic. The Richer Tech Full-Motion GT Racing Simulator (or motion racing simulator) plays an indispensable role, as its powerful motor set ensures millisecond-level response and high fidelity in road feel transmission.

The report highlighted the Static Formula GT Simulator, alongside other dynamic professional motion racing simulator equipment installed at the venue.
